a promise - always to be broken

yes! i did promise that i would let that pen ink something on some theme starting from the very next day, on that 18th June. ... but hey! i've been myself always, kept up that dirty habbit of breaking promises blatantly.
and today, the 18th of September, i just peep in over here to see if someone had actually got my blogger password and posted something sympathising on the empty space which i never cared since last 3 months. ah! i know all you, my fellow bloggers in this world, are already occupied - writing your own adventures or reading someone else's. this space, i see, is as bankrupt as Lehman Brothers turned out to be this monday. in that case, i have to don the mantle of a self critic, a blogger, a street writer, a mad poet and so on and so forth to get something done here. if i say to myself " take it as an obligation" then do hell, i quit. i'd never turn up for blogging. i'l take it the other way and say "man just do it!" somewhat emulating that attitude Wodehouse had while penning comedies. after all am sure there's no blogger on earth who wouldnt agree that posting every single blog is as refreshingly good experience as the after effects of taking a sauna bath.
There was this boy who promised many things to his parents. He promised he would top the board exams but the after effects of procrastination only let him score average marks. Then came more promises on the way but they (my parents!) knew that their beta, their dear son values breaking promises than keeping them. It had to happen here as well - first make a promise and then give a damn. So my dear friends, as the adage goes, " the golden rule is that there are no golden rules", i'd care the least to promise anything to anyone. If there are beautiful tales or songs to follow they will on their own else this space will be as barren as the Sahara Dessert.
